FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

In short

Stratum is a decision intelligence platform for parking and mobility. It works with the systems your organization already relies on to help evaluate current conditions, proposed changes, and emerging challenges. Every evaluation brings together KPI analysis, supporting evidence, projected impact, and recommended actions so your team can make more informed decisions. It sits on top of your existing technology, not in place of it.

About

What Stratum is

Stratum is a decision-intelligence platform for parking and mobility organizations. It works with the systems and data you already have to help evaluate current conditions, proposed changes, and emerging challenges. Every evaluation combines analysis, projected impacts, tradeoffs, and recommended actions so your team can make more informed decisions with confidence.

A dashboard tells you what happened; Stratum tells you what to do about it. It reads what’s happening and forecasts what’s coming (the way good analytics do), then takes the next step: weighing the move against your real constraints and bringing back a ranked, defensible recommendation. The dashboard is the floor; the recommendation is the point.

Stratum is built for parking and mobility organizations responsible for managing complex parking environments, including universities, health systems, municipalities, airports, and mixed-use developments.

Yes. Stratum is the decision-intelligence layer within the Park.Easy ecosystem.

Most parking platforms do one part of the job well: counting occupancy, forecasting demand, tuning a rate. Stratum works alongside them and takes the step they don’t: weighing a decision across everything it touches, against the constraints you actually operate under, and bringing back a move you can defend. It’s a layer on top, not a replacement for the tools you already run.

No. Stratum is designed to support the decisions parking organizations make every day as well as larger strategic initiatives. Whether you’re evaluating current conditions, responding to an emerging issue, preparing for a special event, or considering a policy change, Stratum uses the same decision framework to help your team understand projected impacts and tradeoffs before taking action.

How it works

How Stratum makes decisions

Every recommendation is weighed against your real constraints (the permits, leases, revenue, and targets your operation runs on), not just the parking data. That grounding is what makes a move defensible: each option comes back with the numbers and the reasoning behind it, so the one you choose is one you can stand behind.

Yes. Every recommendation shows its work (the data it drew on, the constraints it weighed, and the tradeoffs behind the ranking), so you can take it to a budget meeting or a community forum and defend it.

No. Stratum is the advisor, not the actor. It brings back the moves worth making and the reasoning behind each; the decision, and the authority for it, stays with your team. It recommends; it never acts on its own.

Whatever the decision is accountable to, in your own words: occupancy and access, the revenue behind the garages, the permit policy you’re bound to, the targets you report on. Stratum weighs each move against the things that actually govern it, not a generic scorecard.

Integration

Fitting into your stack

No. Stratum works with the systems your organization already relies on. It complements your existing technology by creating a unified decision intelligence layer without replacing the systems underneath.

Stratum works with parking and mobility systems such as PARCS, access control, permit management, parking accounts, LPR, sensor platforms, event calendars, financial systems, GIS, and other relevant organizational data sources.

Stratum is designed to work with the data your organization already maintains across existing parking and mobility systems. During onboarding, we determine the most appropriate data connections for your environment.

Implementation timelines vary depending on the systems involved and the scope of deployment. During onboarding, we work with your team to establish the appropriate data connections and begin evaluating your parking environment as quickly as possible.

Data & security

How your data is handled

Your organization retains ownership of its data. Stratum uses that information solely to evaluate the requests your team submits and generate the associated analyses, projected impacts, reports, and recommended actions.

No. Your operational data is used to serve your operation.

Access follows least-privilege principles and is scoped to your team.

Your organization can request removal of its data at any time in accordance with your agreement and applicable data retention policies.

Getting started

Starting with Stratum

Request early access and tell us about your parking environment, existing systems, and the types of challenges your organization evaluates. We’ll work with you to demonstrate how Stratum applies to your environment.

Our onboarding process begins by understanding your existing parking and mobility systems, organizational priorities, and the data available within your environment.

Deployments are tailored to each organization. Depending on your environment, existing systems, and objectives, engagements may begin with a focused implementation before expanding across additional parking assets.

Organizations accepted into early access receive preferred pricing, guided onboarding, direct collaboration with the Stratum team, and early access to new platform capabilities as Stratum continues to evolve.

Early access gives organizations the opportunity to begin realizing value sooner while locking in preferred introductory pricing. Participants also receive guided onboarding, direct access to the Stratum team, and early access to new platform capabilities as they become available.
